मंदिर वहीं बनाया है और तारीख २२ बताया है।
After a long battle that lasted 500 years, Ramlalla is finally returning to his holy birthplace of Ayodhya. This reopening of Ram Mandir will go down as one of the greatest moments in Bharat’s history and will be remembered for centuries to come. On this historic occasion, we must recall the endless sacrifices that millions of Hindus have made with their blood, sweat, and tears to realise this age-old dream. What we’re about to witness is a priceless victory earned by countless names who have devoted their lives to the protection of Sanatan Dharma.
While there is no doubt that the whole world’s eyes will be at the grand inauguration of Ram Mandir, they only have a small picture of the entire story. I come from a generation of people who have seen the tense moments of this movement in our childhood. Having followed the long fight to rebuild Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, I would like to share a few thoughts on how it will shape the destiny of Bharat and Sanatan Dharma.
Return of Ramlalla and the return of Hindu pride
For decades, Bharatiya people have shied away from openly expressing and celebrating their culture and religion. People suffering from Western colonial hangover used to (some of them still do) shame and belittle those who displayed patriotism towards Bharat and devotion to our culture. However, the tables have dramatically turned in the past decade, and today, there is an overwhelming surge of confidence and pride in Bharatiya citizens towards their nation and Sanatan Dharma. Today, the common man is not hesitant to show his deep loyalty and connect with Bharatiya culture.
We are witnessing how the entire nation is in a jubilant mood as Ramlalla returns to his birthplace. But the rebuilding of Ram Mandir stands for more than just cultural significance; it stands for the fact that Hindus are no longer apologetic about owning up to their cultural roots and flaunting them. They are no longer afraid of getting shamed by the outside world for simply fighting for their equal rights and claiming what is rightfully theirs. At the same time, Hindus also believe that while Bharat is a Hindu Rashtra, all citizens should have equal rights and responsibilities because that is what our religion teaches us.
A shining new Ayodhya to welcome Maryada Purushottam
I am amazed to see the incredible rate at which Ayodhya is developing today. Realising the overwhelming scale at which Bharatiya people are looking to visit this holy city, business enterprises around the world are investing heavily in building luxury hotels and other hospitality ventures for its tourism industry, which will erupt over the next few years. Beautiful new roads have been constructed, and streetlamps resembling the bow of Lord Ram have been put up. The whole city has been revamped to make sure that Sanatan Dharma reflects at every length and breadth. What is even more heartwarming to see is the way common citizens are taking up the responsibility to protect and maintain the newly built beautiful infrastructure of Ayodhya.
The heroes who turned this dream into reality
As I said before, it is the sacrifices of countless Bharatiya citizens that have re-established ‘Ram Rajya’ in Ayodhya. But there are some great souls that immersed their hearts and souls towards this cause by leading from the front. One such leader is Jagat Guru Ram Bhadracharya ji. At a time when Ram Mandir’s reconstruction used to be an extremely sensitive topic, he fearlessly supported and rallied for it on a public platform. He has travelled all over the world to spread the teachings of Sanatan Dharma. The way he tirelessly worked on enlightening the world about the impact of our religion and culture around the globe has set a new benchmark in our modern history.
Formidable political leaders like former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani ji, ‘Hindu Hridaysamrat’ Balasaheb Thackrey ji, to name a few, have spent their whole lives fighting for the rights of Hindus to practice their religion and follow their culture without any hesitation. They have left a legacy for generations of Bharatiya people to bring back the glory of Sanatan Dharma that will last till the end of time.
Last but definitely not least, we have to be grateful to the one man who has changed modern Bharat’s destiny – Prime Minister Narendra Modi. None of this would have happened if he wouldn’t have brought political stability in Bharat and formed a strong government at the Centre. Had he not shown the political will to change our nation for the better, Articles 370 and 35A would not have been abrogated, and J&K would have been immersed in terrorism. It is also because of him that Bharat is building world-class infrastructure and defence self-reliance to take our nation to the future.
A new era for Bharat
Now that we are looking at a new dawn, we must ask ourselves – is it not up to us, the people of Bharat, to ensure that our great nation continues on this path towards glory? Isn’t it our responsibility to be good citizens by filling in our responsibilities while also enjoying our rights? Bharat deserves citizens who will preserve its glory, culture, and tradition and protect them just like they would protect their homes. While we must vote for a strong government, we must realise that the government cannot do everything, it is the citizens who will shape our country’s destiny. As a new sun rises on Bharat, we must rise up to live, fight, and strive for our nation and Sanatan!
